Infinity Locksmiths, Dapto: Locksmithing for Homes, Cars and Businesses
15 Oct 2026
Locked out, locked in, or just not confident the back door would stop anyone? Infinity Locksmiths are a locksmithing business based in Dapto, working across the Wollongong, Shellharbour and Kiama regions. They describe themselves as the Illawarra's premier locksmiths, with over 20 years of experience and a team of highly-trained locksmiths providing prompt, professional service.
The work covers three main areas: residential, automotive and commercial locksmithing. Beyond locks themselves, they also handle smart locks, safes, alarms, IPTV cameras, access control, intercoms and garage door openers. In their own words, they excel at providing intelligent solutions for all security issues. Their client list includes schools, real estates, churches and a university, alongside thousands of satisfied clients.
Car keys are a common emergency, and it's worth knowing that losing every key isn't the end of the world. Asked about it directly, the business says: "Absolutely! Our team are highly-trained in automotive locksmithing. We use cutting edge technology to cut and program replacement keys for over 95% of modern vehicles. Whatever the make and model, Infinity Locksmiths can get you back on the road promptly."
Smart locks are another area where a bit of advice goes a long way. Rather than pushing a single product, they point out that while there's a huge range of smart locks available, only a few are intended to replace your current hardware. Their team can recommend the best option to suit your existing lock, and they stock brands including Lockwood, Yale, Lockton, McGrath Locks, Austyle and Lucky Lock.
On timing, the business says response times for emergency work vary from 15 minutes up to an hour, and that staff will give you an accurate ETA when you make the booking. Their warranty is clearly spelled out too: all service work is covered for 24 months, and all parts supplied are covered for a minimum of 24 months, with some products covered for up to 25 years.
Opening hours are generous and consistent, 7am to 7pm seven days a week, which suits early starts and after-work callouts alike. They accept card and EFTPOS, Afterpay and Zip Pay, offer online ordering, and delivery is available.
The service area is broad. In the Wollongong region that stretches from Helensburgh and Stanwell Park in the north down through Corrimal, Figtree and Unanderra to Dapto, Kanahooka and Yallah. In Shellharbour it takes in Albion Park, Oak Flats, Warilla, Flinders, Shell Cove and more, and in the Kiama region it covers Minnamurra, Kiama Downs, Jamberoo, Gerringong and Gerroa, among others.
