Customer requests are sent to you
When someone asks for quotes in your category, we email the request to local businesses. Featured members get the customer's name, phone and email, and can reply straight away.
Leads cost you nothing extra
There is no fee per lead, no commission and no credits to buy. One flat price, whether you get one request or a hundred.
We can't promise how many requests you'll get, and nobody honestly can. Your dashboard shows exactly what your listing gets: views, calls, website visits, directions and quote requests.

Questions
- Do I pay for the leads?
- No. Featured is one flat price. There is no fee per lead, no commission and no credits to buy. Whether you get one request or a hundred, the price doesn't change.
- Do you really advertise?
- Yes. We pay for advertising on Facebook to send local people to Illawarra's Best, and we post daily. That's our cost, not yours.
- How do I get the customer requests?
- A customer posts what they need on our Get quotes page, for free and without an account. We send the request to a small number of local businesses in that category near the job: Featured members first, nearest first. Featured members get the customer's name, phone and email straight away. A free listing is told a job was posted, but not who it's from.
- Is the free listing really free?
- Yes. It stays free. Featured and Category Partner are optional upgrades.
- Can I cancel Featured?
- Yes, any time. Email hello@illawarrasbest.com and we'll cancel it for you. You keep the free listing. If you pay yearly, you keep Featured until the year you paid for ends.
- What happens to my website?
- It's built from your listing and switches on when you go Featured. Stay Featured for 12 months and we move it to your own domain and hosting, and it's yours to keep.
- How does Category Partner work?
- Only one business per category can hold it. It's $249 once for 12 months, and it includes 12 months of Featured. That's the launch price. It rises to $500 after Saturday 31 October, and you pay what you see when you buy. If the spot in your category is taken, you can see that on the Category Partner page. If it isn't for you, email hello@illawarrasbest.com within 7 days for a full refund.
- Do you promise a number of customers?
- No, and nobody honestly can. What we promise is the placement and the tools. Your dashboard shows the views, calls, website visits, directions and quote requests your listing gets, so you can see what you're getting.
- How do I pay?
- By card through Stripe. We never see your card details.
