8 months agoOne of the best pies I've had in Australia! (and I try a lot!). In search of a good pie I did some Google searches after visiting the nearby Rhododendron Garden. Located Corrimal Bakehouse which was a short drive away. On street 1 hour parking. Huge selection of pie flavours and only $6 each!! What a bargain. Also had sausage rolls, spinach and feta rolls, banh mi and all the regular bakery goodies. We ordered a pepper beef pie and beef and mushroom pie. Both were delicious, good quality meat, large pieces of steak, rich thick gravy and great structural integrity with the pie base and lots of flaky pastry on the top. We were lucky to snag a bench outside the shop to sit on but there was a small foodcourt across the road outside Coles or a nearby park for seating. The pie was so good I had to go in after finishing to tell them this in person!

8 months agoVery buttery and flaky pastry!! Sausage roll is very well seasoned and all the pie fillings are super flavourful.

3 months agoCheese & Bacon Pie was a 10/10, not too overkill with the ingredients. Everything was well thought and well balanced. The Vanilla slice is a must try, perfect flakiness throughout and the cream consistency is perfect with not too much sweetness, haven’t had a better vanilla slice since! 10/10

a year agoCrackling pork roll was great. It was packed with meat - good amount of fatty and crunchy bits among the lean cuts. The radish added a nice touch Came here again to try the pies . The mushroom pie was perfectly seasoned - both the pastry and the filling. The pie lid is also flakey :) $6 very well spent. One of the best pies I've tried.
