Berkeley Sports Club

Visited here for lunch with a work client. Car park was full of pot holes, the bollards at the front were hard to see from the colour, the bistro and bar opens 30 mins later than other clubs in the Illawarra, saw a live roach near the bistro counter. Food was very average and ridiculously over priced. Safe to say my client and I won't be coming here again anytime soon I'm afraid, not amazing

Great food - well prepared and presented. The staff were friendly and efficient. With very low wait time. Definitely will go there again.

3 of us had dinner last night. Great food, the schnitzel was the best I have had in ages. Not dried out like some places. Calamari was top notch too.

Edit; had dinner again here and the food was good so, to be fair I'm throwing out this edit. It's $$$ tho for the area The club needs to invite a celebrity like Gordon Ramsay to help improve the place. Just raising food prices isn’t going to attract more people. Two of us ordered steaks, which were undercooked but still okay—considering the $43.00 price, they should have been perfect. For comparison, the local Oak Flats pub offers $15 meals and steaks daily. Thinking these must be good...I decided to try the $25.00 beef rissoles with peas, mashed potatoes, and caramelised onions. The taste was good, but the portion wasn't - just two bland rissoles, a spoonful of peas and a small amount of caramelized onions. Honestly, it won't be a regular for us at those prices. Everything is way overpriced. As for the atmosphere, there’s no background music, which is disappointing. The band setting up wasn’t listed on the club’s Facebook page, so we and nobody else had any idea. Seriously, the club needs a third party to offer some advice. Staff great

First time at this club. Bit dark and sombre. The dirt patch where you park your cars needs to be made into a proper car park. Food was good though. Average prices for a club.
