Oliver Brown Figtree

On my way to Wollongong Beach, I stopped by Figtree Shopping Centre and randomly chose this café from three or four options. The atmosphere was fresh and pleasant, so I ordered a hot chocolate, a cappuccino, and a cheeseburger. The staff had a great vibe, and the café itself felt bright and welcoming. The coffee was served first, followed by the cheeseburger. There is a McDonald’s right in front of the shopping centre, but I was so happy that I chose to eat here instead. Especially the cappuccino and hot chocolate were some of the best I have had in Australia, so I highly recommend trying them.

First time visiting Oliver Brown and overall it was a pleasant experience. They offer both sweet and savoury dishes, which is great if you’re visiting with different cravings in mind. I ordered the iced tiramisu, which was nice and refreshing, though I personally felt it could have had a bit more depth in flavour. The crepe was also enjoyable, but on the sweeter side for my taste. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and service was fast, which made the visit easy and relaxed. Even with those small preferences, I’d be happy to come back and would definitely visit another Oliver Brown in the future.

whenever I crave rich Belgian chocolate! I ordered the signature hot chocolate and marshmallow waffle, and both were incredible. The hot chocolate is thick, creamy and not overly sweet, made with premium Belgian chocolate. The waffle was crispy outside, soft inside, loaded with fluffy marshmallows and smooth chocolate drizzle.

Absolutely delicious! Coffee includes chocolates & melted chocolate on top, divine. Awesome big breakfast and great B&E roll. Quick service and friendly staff. We’ll be back.

Amazing food and coffee! 😊 Flavors were spot on and presentation was Instagram-worthy. Lovely vibe and staff were super friendly. Will definitely be back!
