5 months agoOutstanding experience. The coffee is Campos, and you can tell straight away — smooth, rich, and done properly. Easily one of the better coffees I’ve had. What really stood out was the service. The team — young, energetic, and genuinely friendly — look like they actually enjoy being there, and that shows in how they treat customers. There’s always a line, which says everything. This place is popular for a reason. Food was just as impressive — fresh, clean, and well-prepared. I grabbed a toastie with my coffee and it hit the mark. Highly recommend. If I’m in the area again, I’ll definitely be back.

8 months agoA quaint little cafe in the middle of Unanderra, Steam Heads is a good option for a simple breakfast while passing through this little town on the south coast of NSW. With a small but simple breakfast menu the cafe seems to exude the small town cafe vibe. The food was average, with prices to match which is good. I was looking forward to the Reuben toastie with smoky beef wagyu, sauerkraut, pickles, Swiss cheese and homemade dressing. It was an average toastie which tasted fine a little underwhelming in taste and volume but a solid option for breakfast or lunch. The coffee is good I ordered a large but was left wondering about the size of the cup. Overall nice place to stop and grab a bite or a coffee

8 months agoGreat coffee and friendly service. The bacon and egg wrap was delicious and generously sized. It got busy so we had to wait a while for the food but it was worth it. All served in a trendy cafe with relaxed vibe. Highly recommended.

3 months agoSo disappointed, I had bought a turkey roll from Steamheads today, had a bite of my roll and instantly tasted foul. I opened it up to find that my sandwich was growing mould. I couldn’t even take it back for a refund as the store has now closed for the day. Very concerning that bad food is being sold to patrons.

a year agoQuality place. Well staffed, friendly service, plenty of seating inside and out and well spaced out. Good value and great tasting food. Ordered a couple of toasties and coffee - all spot on. Turkey Baguette of roast turkey, double cream brie, apple, quince paste and rocket - who would put that combo together, but it works beautifully. Coffee excellent too. Will be back!
