3 months agoIf you're looking for a great view with a nice fit out, then you might enjoy this place. In terms of food, I'd say it's probably below average in terms of quality and portion sizes. It's a shame because of how nice the views are, and I see it as a bit of a missed opportunity. The chicken soba noodles were ok, but the chicken was lacking in flavour. The pizza was tiny and not good enough compared to great pizza places you can go to these days. Would recommend trying other places in the area.

6 months agoIf there were an option to rate below one star, I would use it. This was my second visit. My first experience was good — professional service and a well-prepared barramundi. That positive impression is the only reason I returned. The second visit was significantly below standard. Service was inattentive and lacked the level of professionalism expected from a venue positioning itself as fine dining. The barramundi was poorly executed. While the interior was not overcooked, the exterior was burnt to the point of bitterness. The charred crust overpowered the entire dish, and the burnt flavour penetrated through the fish. This is not a matter of preference — it is a basic execution issue. The accompanying vegetables were bland and uninspired. The zucchini (or similar greens served) were also overcooked and carried the same burnt aftertaste. The potatoes were unseasoned and lacked any refinement. The only component with flavour was the sauce. For a restaurant presenting itself at a higher standard, this level of inconsistency and lack of quality control is concerning. We left dissatisfied. I will not return, and I would not recommend it.

3 months agoViews are great and food didnt disappoint. Burgers and Fish & Chips looked massive at other tables. We are watching calories, so Barra was good though a bit pricey.

4 months agoHad an awesome lunch here today. Pretty popular destination for the area. Great atmosphere with plenty of laughter and a great view over the beach. Had the yellow fin tuna ceviche and the prawn linguini along with calamari and fish & chips. All dishes were excellent. If you’re in the area, look them up.

7 months agoNice location with a beautiful view. The Charcoal Barramundi was very good — perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The atmosphere is relaxed, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal while taking in the scenery. Friendly service and a pleasant overall experience. Would definitely come back.
