Northern Illawarra Veterinary Hospital

Highly recommend northern Illawarra vet. They are absolutely amazing & caring to our fur babies. They greet my frenchies by name and give them a cuddle on arrival. They even put a bandanna on my girl after surgery. I wish I could give 10 stars.

I can’t speak highly enough of the team at NIVH. The level of caren compassion, and professionalism us exceptional. The vets, nurses and staff are friendly, caring and understanding and always go the extra step to ensure both you and your pet feel supported. They consistently keep you informed and take the time to follow up on your pet’s care, which provides real peace of mind. What really sets them apart among other things is their accessibility- there is always someone available to answer questions or a vet will return your call which makes a huge difference when they are unwell and you need advice. Their level of responsiveness is something I have not experienced with some other local practices, and it’s a big part of why I chose to move to NIVH. It’s clear that every member of the team genuinely has your pet’s best interests at heart. All the staff are amazing - friendly, approachable, and always willing to help. My little dog is always nervous going to the vet but they make her feel so comfortable and she doesn’t feel anxious and stops shaking. Animal care is expensive anywhere you go but they are reasonable and knowing my loved family member is always looked after is worth every cent. Recently my little girl was very sick and they were incredible with her care, while she was with them all day for a week looking after her, encouraging her, giving her cuddles and pulling her through. I am forever grateful and can’t thank them enough. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for outstanding care. Thank you NIVH for all you do for our very loved pets 🙏

Couldn’t speak more highly of NIVH! The team is very experienced, thorough and caring. An appointment never feels rushed and they take the time to build rapport and trust with both owners and pets. Thank you for all that you do, we know our Greyhound is in great hands!

I couldn’t recommend NIVH more From the quick emergency trip to the vet on Saturday to making the heartbreaking decision to euthanise him today big shout out To vet Sharon who saw me on Saturday and all the team there especially vet Jackson who was with me today when I put my baby to sleep they made his death dignified and beautiful. I thank you so much with all my heart. I now have a new vet for my beautiful babies

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I honestly couldn’t recommend the team at NIVH more. Murphy has been going to the team since a puppy and the team are always kind, welcoming and genuinely invested in my Murphys wellbeing. The level of care, professionalism and compassion here is unmatched. It’s such a relief knowing Murph is in the hands of people who truly love what they do. Every visit has been smooth, supportive and stress-free. If you’re looking for a vet who treats your pet like family, this is the place. Absolutely exceptional service every time. 🐾❤️
